Natural Running:

 

James, as a highly trained athlete has incorporated natural running techniques into his personal training regime for quite a while to aid in injury prevention and to improve both speed and form.


As the head trainer for the Vibram FiveFingers series of Natural Running Clinics and seeing first hand the positive response from participants I have recognised the need to offer a sound training program for all.


As such, I am available for both One on One coaching or group training sessions to share natural running techniques with a tried and tested method to cover a safe and measured introduction to running well.


Natural running techniques do not require you to throw away your trainers, its much more a case of allowing the body to recognise good form and once learnt you can wear any shoe you like.

Session Description:


The Natural Running Workshop

$20  (per person for the two hour class)


Is designed for runners of all levels of experience to engage with like minded people together in a friendly, safe and open environment to learn as a group some of the best ways to develop good running form.


A great start to encourage running with less effort, increase your potential running speed and aid in the prevention of injury. All participants are encouraged to participate barefoot to gain the most from the lessons offered.


Tame The Trail Workshop

$40 (per person for the two hour class)


Is a more advanced session leading on from the Natural Running Workshop, designed for those of us who are regular runners looking to take on competition or specific events so will have good general fitness.


The focus is on developing your speed and effectively dealing with uneven terrain / off-road trail running.  


Unlike the Natural Running Workshop you are required to bring along your normal trail running shoes for this class regardless of brand or model.
